Life is beautiful.

It’s completely unpredictable, but always beautiful. The more we allow ourselves to see the beauty, the more joy we feel. The more joy we feel, the more we allow ourselves to surrender. The more we surrender, the more of a miraculous life becomes. The goal is total surrender. Total surrender is total joy.

It’s our choice to see beauty or not.

The gift of the freedom of thought is a gift to see creation in whatever light we desire. Even though beneath it all there is beauty eternal, we can cover it with a veil of thought and make it seem to be something else. And if in the dark moments you only remind yourself of the beauty that runs underneath, your mind will open to the light, the darkness will fade away like a passing dream and you’ll remember life is beautiful.

One thing I’m really coming to see more and more is the interconnectedness of all minds. I feel as though there are impulses that come through the ether and enter our minds while we’re open and willing to listen.

I’m seeing this more and more often with my girlfriend. We both feel inspired to do exactly the same thing at the same time. We both randomly hum the same tune at the same time. It’s as if we’re totally synchronized. As if life is just a river and the waves carry us both together.

When I am aware, I notice there is a synchrony in this sense to all of creation. But it’s our freedom to see otherwise. All minds are connected to the energy and intelligence of all creation. We are in this sense, each of us, a unique thought in the mind of God. …

Throughout most of my journey through spirituality, I was under the impression that negative thoughts create negative circumstances. But they don’t.

Allow me to elaborate…

You can spend a thousand years in a negative vibration. All it means for the duration of that time you are seeing the negative.

The moment you switch into a positive state of mind, you don’t even have to wait for “circumstances” to change. You automatically, instantly, see positive all around you, like flipping between two radio stations, only you’re seeing a new reality.

While we believe in two worlds, the inside, and the outside, it’s helpful to consider the idea of aligning with a higher vibration as a sort of investment. As if you can invest in positive thoughts and eventually if you invest in enough positive vibration, positive things happen. …

As someone who used to suffer from crippling jealousy, I’ll share with you what I’ve learned that has virtually completely freed me of jealousy.

I used to think my mind worked like a camera. …

Without thought, I could have no experience.

Of the infinite experiences that I can have, all are experienced through my creative freedom of thought.

The experience I am having is a choice I am making. Experience follows thought just like a brushstroke follows an artist’s hand.

If ever I feel that something outside of my own mind can make me upset in any way, it’s because I’ve forgotten who I am in that moment. I’ve hidden from my awareness the choice I have made.

But I can remember who I am. And I can make a new choice.

“I can be hurt by nothing but my thoughts”

When I first began to explore the notion that thought is not only perceptive, but creative, there was a lot of doubt in my mind.

I remember at one point I was driving to my plumbing job in the morning. I was trying to think positive, and I felt a negative thought intrude.

I just said to myself, “this whole thought creating reality thing is so fucking stupid, fuck it.” And so I decided to feed my negative thoughts like no tomorrow — as if they were an annoying child begging for attention.

“Today’s just going to be a shitty day,” I started telling myself, “That’s just how it’s gonna be. It’s gonna suck.” I was laughing at the idea that thinking those thoughts can even make a difference. …

I used to think that freedom was something attained when I wasn’t limited by circumstances. It certainly made sense to me that a rich person was freer than a homeless person.

It also made sense to me to feel insecure when there wasn’t much money in the bank. I considered that normal and pragmatic. I actually believed it was a good thing to be insecure about money because it let me know it was time to figure out how to make more.

Naturally from this line of thinking, I put a lot of energy into whatever seemed to be limiting my freedom, and whatever to be seemed to be causing my insecurity. …

One of the most profound spiritual experiences that I ever had happened was when I was 17. It was as if the world had slipped away from my awareness, like a tight shoe. Like a veil had been pulled away before my eyes. All the meaning I made of the world had disappeared completely. Everything. Just for a moment, I saw without thought.

I remember yelling out, laughing hysterically, “it’s inside-out!”

I saw that all of my experience of life as I knew it was like a cosmic rorschach inkblot. …

Have you ever touched a hot stove? I haven’t, personally. But a lot of people I know have. When I’ve inquired into the experience they’ve reported to me that when they touched the hot stove, it was instinctual to take their hand away from it.

That seems like a normal reaction by my understanding. I believe it would actually be kind of silly to keep your hand pressed on the stove, especially because you know it’s what’s causing the pain.

After countless hours of research, gathered from different data sources, I’ve finally created a formula that can give us insight into the process of how the pain response system…

What is the easiest or most direct technique for you to let go of your thoughts or sensations or feelings, how do you let them just flow without the mind or ego interference in “trying to do it”?

Rosa

Hey Rosa, thank you for your question!

At a certain point, as we move from egohood to spirithood, we begin to see that ego-thoughts are really the only thing between you and the joy of God. …
